My journey with yoga started when I was about 17.

I was looking for forms of exercise that felt more meaningful and intuitive than school sports and jogging around the block.

When I stumbled upon a couple of poses in an overseas teen magazine, something inside me just went YES! Of course, there were no studios or teachers in the small coastal village I grew up in, so I begged my parents to buy me an instructional video!

Fifteen years down the line, I’m qualified as a 200hr yoga teacher. I draw constant inspiration from the ways in which yoga has allowed me to grow stronger, braver, more confident and – slowly but surely – more flexible too.

I believe yoga is for EVERYONE.

My aim is to make it less intimidating for those who aren’t familiar with the practice and to bring it back down to earth for them – quite literally too – with outdoor classes and experiences. I enjoy taking a playful and lighthearted approach to my classes through creative sequencing. Ultimately, I want people to have fun, cultivate patience with (and maybe even some love for) their bodies and take joy in the movement.

During spring and summer (roughly October – March), you can find me at the Century City Oval, where I teach a mobile yoga class for the Om Revolution on Wednesday evenings at 6pm. Find out more here.
