I’ve decided to try out a new regular feature on my blog: Travel Tuesday.
I sort of just decided it on a whim right now, so I’m not sure how it will pan out, but let’s see. Today’s post is leaning to the more abstract side of things, but I think in future I will try sharing some of my own travel experiences, bucket list destinations, cool links to other travel sites… whatever inspires me really. What do you think?
Before the pics, here’s a cool link to check out: Poler’s (the world’s highest standard of travel & camping stuff, apparently) adventure section. There are 7 super cool slide shows, each depicting a different adventure somewhere in the US of A.

Yes, the lost skill of observation is something I want to challenge myself with this year. If you think about it, all knowledge mankind has about the natural world was gathered by only one method: observation. It scares me how much we “do” and how seldom we “observe” in these demanding modern times!
True! Or even observing without documenting… There are so many things I see and experience without putting them in writing or pictures or whatever. That’s my great challenge.
I don’t get it. Are you saying you want to document things more or that documentation is challenging or that documenting things is bad?
yes, i want to document things more. Documenting is good. Hahaha!
To quote the great Leonard Cohen, “You’re living for nothing now, I hope you’re keeping some kind of record.” That’s basically what really keeps me inspired to document things.
You have an awesome blog.
My dream is to travel and write/take pictures (cliché, but it’s true). Thanks for the inspiration 🙂
Thanks, Nicole 🙂 That’s what I dream of doing too… wouldn’t it be wonderful?!
